Spanish Club

Students at Spanish Club

If you would like to have fun after school, Spanish Club should be one of your options. Expect delicious food, and if we’re lucky, a movie! If you just want to relax after a long day in school, this is the right place for you.

Every month, students get together to discuss when we will meet, what food we will cook, if there is going to be a movie or not, and what everyone will bring.

If for some reason you can’t afford to bring something, ¡No te preocupes! (Don’t worry) You being there is more important. Would it be a club if no one’s there?

On Wednesdays, depending on which Wednesday we decide as a club, you are more than welcome to go to room SV05 all the way to the back buildings. Remember, there is no pressure to bring anything, but if you want to, it would be appreciated by the teacher and students.

All types of food and music are welcomed! It doesn’t matter how you look or what you do, the doors will be open for everyone who wants to learn about different cultures and would like to try something new.

There are a variety of activities, sometimes depending on the month. If there’s a day people celebrate or is important, we might do an activity related to it. For example, if it’s November, we might do an activity that is related to Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead).

In the club we want a good environment, and everyone should be respectful to each other. We want everyone to have a good time.

Some of the activities we have done involve painting. If you consider yourself as someone artistic and open minded, this club could be a great opportunity for you to learn new things and sometimes show your artistic skills.

If you have had or are taking a Spanish class right now, going to the club could be a great opportunity to practice what you have learned! Don’t be scared to go. Everyone in the club is there to spend time together, help each other, and have fun. ¡Tú puedes! (You can do it!)

Spanish Club is back and we’re ready and excited to see new faces and personalities in our club! There is always something you can do. We’d love to hear from you and hear your ideas for the club.

We would like to see more people having a good time! Hope to see you there!
