A movie that changed me was one that I watched recently called Don’t Look Up. This movie changed me because of how real it felt.
Don’t Look Up is a movie about two low-level astronomers that have to go on a giant media tour to warn mankind of an approaching comet that will destroy the Earth. Dr. Randall Mindy and Kate Dibiasky go on a mission to warn the people and political leaders of what is going to happen, but they don’t care.
This movie changed me because it felt so real. One of the reasons why it changed me is because it’s based on real events. One scene is where Dr. Randall and Kate are being interviewd by a news channel, and Kate says theres a 100% chance that they were going to die. Some of the points in the movie felt like it was actually going to happen in real life. It also scared me because of the scientist protesters being shut down for trying to warn us about climate change. The way those scientists were shut out really reminds me of how Dr. Randall and Kate are being ignored by the government officials.
