Are you involved in your community… If so, continue, and if not, consider a change by coming out to support CHS Lady Bobcat team! Mark your calendar for their first game of the season this Thursday, November 15 at 6 PM.
The Lady Bobcats have been hard and work in the off-season and are ready to take their skills onto the court. Aaniyah Johnson, freshman, who made Junior varsity and varsity says “feeding off the crowd can make use want to score more and gives us a reason to strive better.”

Rachel French, junior, who plays for the varsity team says, “we as a team are making [more] progress than the girls basketball program has had in a long time and it means a lot for people to come out and see how hard we’ve been working.”
Head coach Collins says, “our players have been working through the summer and fall to improve on last season. These girls play with the kind of heart, hustle, and passion that will make you be proud to be a Bobcat. However, we cannot do this alone, we need all Bobcats to come out and be as loud as possible at each home game! With your help, we can make Fountain City one of the toughest places to play in the area.”
The fan’s role participating in the community means a lot more to these girls and their head coach Collins than some might think. They are counting on their Bobcat Family, not only the seniors since it’s their last year and last season but the team as a whole.
