Christopher Winstead: A Kind Musician

Guitarist, Musician, Career, Freshman, Writer

Who is Christopher Winstead? Or you may know him as Topher or Toast. He moves like a gentle giant in the halls and often rocks cargo shorts, a band tee and scuffed black converse.

Christopher Winstead is a freshman here at Central High School. At first glance, Christopher appears to be a tall, scary guy. When he opens his mouth, that assumption is gone. His glowing smile lights up the room and his kind attitude brightens your day.

Christopher helps anyone who asks and is always willing to lend you a hand. Whether you have a headache, low blood sugar, or are in an argument with someone – He’s there to step in and assist.

Christopher is always making jokes trying to make people smile. No matter what the situation is, he will always try to cheer you up. His kindness to others is unmatched. Anyone would be lucky to be his friend.

When Christopher was younger, he lived in Georgia. He moved around quite a bit because his father was in the military. He went from Georgia to Alaska to The Volunteer State, Tennessee. He said he wasn’t affected by it much because he loves road trips.

During that time in his young childhood, he inherited his grandmother’s guitars and an amp when she passed. That’s what sparked his passion for music. From the moment he first picked up a guitar, he knew that it would be his favorite hobby.

Although he’s very passionate about guitar, he wants to do something in the criminology field such as profiling or forensic pathology. He plans to go to UT to pursue his psychology degree. After, he wants to go to Quantico and join the F.B.I.
