The wonderful life of Roadkill The Opossum

Roadkill the opossum is a friendly little creature who is a big icon in the Central High School band world. Roadkill loves to put on a show for his peers by changing outfits and driving cool cars.

Roadkill, bought from the dollar store for 1 dollar in early July of 2023, Roadkill has become a band icon in his short life of only 5 months. Roadkill has become the unofficial icon for the band. Roadkill goes on many adventures with various band members. Most of the pictures he takes go on his Instagram, @roadkill.the.opossum.

The Roadkill Instagram account is run by many seniors. The band members take him on adventures and get pictures of him for the memory books. The band is trying to get as many pictures as possible before his sad demise.

Roadkill helps unite band members and connect them through a common interest. Band members have found roadkill as a way to connect with people and create a stronger bond between the band. Even the band director has come to praise roadkill seeing as how he is the most popular thing in the band room.

Roadkill has been with the band for the entirety of this season and a few months before. He has single handedly become the most accomplished piece of the band over the season. Roadkill has been kicked into a tree and much more and still chooses to be the friendly opossum that he is. We hope to see Roadkill throughout the concert band season and for future marching band seasons.
