The CHS marching band is happy to present their music in the stands and the halftime show, “AI”, throughout the football season and in competition.
The Central marching band will be presenting their show, “AI”, this school year. The music consists of, Kiss, “I Was Made For Lovin You”, Tears For Fear, “Everybody Wants To Rule The World”, Blondie, “One Way Or Another”, and Metallica, “Master Of Puppets.” The music was chosen as part two of last year’s hard rock show.
The band members are as excited as Mr. Mink about getting the show on. They have been working very hard recently after school Mondays and Thursdays from 4-6 on the new show. The marching band members are taking it very seriously. Coming off of a grand champion win last year, Central needs to show why they deserve the win again this year.
Band is something people look forward to because it is a good community, that you can always be productive, and make good friends. Also you get to learn a lot about your instrument and can improve after only one year. “I enjoy band because it makes you mature and you become a way more responsible person”, ”said Hunter Gross. Most people that are going into 9th grade are intimidated by marching band but after a while, they are very happy they did it.
The Central band is happy to perform their halftime show throughout the rest of the football games. Come support the Bobcat Band at football games and pep rallies.
