Seniors Sam Kenny and Caleb Williams competed in the intermediate category(5.10c-11c). Although it was his first competition with the team, Kenny placed third overall scoring 1250 points. Williams set sights high on some of the toughest climbs in the gym and came within a few moves of the send, placed sixth and scoring 750.

Coach Turner couldn’t have been more proud of the outcome. “Everyone worked hard and, more importantly, worked together with great energy and encouragement for each other.” Another first for the high school team was welcoming their middle school counterparts from Gresham – students, parents, and coaches are all optimistic for a great season ahead.
