Technology continues to expand in our world. Our civilization grows more dependent on it every day. With this growing industry comes more need for dependable workers to help supply the demand. One of those minds is Draven Kirk.
An ambitious student at Central High School, Draven Kirk has dreams of becoming a software developer. He spends his spare time playing games and working as a coin collector at the mall.
He was influenced at an early age to be a video game developer because he wanted to be able to say that he made something that people loved. Later, when he was in a coding class at Central, he became set on being a software developer when he saw their annual salary.
Software engineers can make up to $80,000 a year. Because of this, he hopes that maybe his children could have a better childhood than his own.
Coming up in a divorced family, he never had a complete childhood. Being someone who wants a family of his own, he needs a job that would be able to better support one. With this in mind he has hope that his future could be bright.
This hope for a brighter future could be what motivates him to keep going forward. If he stays motivated to achieve this future, then he could, without a doubt, become part of the backbone that supports our society for the foreseeable future.
